SCIENTIFIC PAPER
Share your research with the Pan-American Aerospace Medicine community.
PACAM 2027 will accept scientific papers from researchers, healthcare professionals, faculty members, students, and institutions interested in contributing to the advancement of Aerospace Medicine, aeromedical transport, aviation health, and space sciences.

Deadline for submitting the revised version (if requested)

IMPORTANT
Papers submitted after the submission period closes may only be reviewed by exceptional decision of the Scientific Committee.

SUBMISSION FORMATS
PACAM 2027 will accept three types of scientific submissions:
SCIENTIFIC ABSTRACT
Hypoxia, altitude, pressurization, acceleration, spatial disorientation, fatigue, circadian rhythm, sleep, and human performance.
CASE REPORT OR EXPERIENCE REPORT
Human adaptation to space, microgravity, radiation, space physiology, astronaut health, and medical challenges of space exploration.
FULL SCIENTIFIC PAPER
Telemedicine, artificial intelligence, medical devices, physiological monitoring, simulation, and new technologies applied to aerospace health.
ACCEPTED LANGUAGES
Submissions will be accepted in:
Portuguese
Spanish
English
The selected language must be used consistently throughout the submitted document. The Scientific Committee may request linguistic adjustments before final publication.
THEMATIC AREAS AND TOPICS
Submissions must be directly related to Aerospace Medicine, health, aviation, or related fields.

A simple, secure, and transparent process.
The submission will be processed after confirmation of the corresponding scientific submission fee payment. Submitting a paper without payment does not guarantee that it will be forwarded for evaluation.

Complete the submission form
All required fields must be completed.
Submit your paper
The system will provide a submission confirmation receipt.
Await the review
Your paper will be forwarded to the Scientific Committee for evaluation.
SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE REVIEW
REVIEW RESULTS
Papers will undergo peer review, preferably with author identities concealed. Each submission will be evaluated according to standardized criteria, with scores ranging from 0 to 5 in nine criteria.
ACCEPTED
Paper approved for presentation at PACAM 2027.
ACCEPTED WITH REVISIONS
Approval is conditional upon revisions being made within the specified deadline.
RE-EVALUATION
Additional revisions or analysis are required.
RELAX
Paper not approved for presentation.
